Timi Yuro "The Amazing" 1964

Timi Yuro was one the most underrated and overlooked singers of her time. She handled soul, jazz and pop like few. In a better world she had been as big as the other competitors. The Amazing from 1964 is my favorite album with her - sad and beatiful love ballads in jazz and minor with fastidious strings and arrangements.

Enjoy!

  1. Thank you Aaron. I bought my first Timi Yuro album when in 1963 when I was 15. Earlier my father asked why I would spend $1.00 for a 45 with only two songs when I could buy a complete album for $3.00? I thought that was a very good question so I went out and bought The Bobby Darin Story. The next week I bought the album What's A Matter Baby by Timi Yuro. She was such a powerful singer. I've been a big fan forever. I don't have this album but she looks so good on the cover. A cool, tough chick.
