Elias Rahbani ‎- Mosaic Of The Orient (Näi, Buzuk & Guitar) (1972)

This is El Rahbani's first LP from 1972, it was recorded in Beirut, Lebanon with producer Farid Abul Khair, wich intention was to bring together the eastern sound of näi (arabian flute), bouzoki, tablas with western rhythms. The tune Dance Of Maria has been heavily sampled for it's break beats by several hip hop acts. This instrumental album delicate weaves between psychedelic folk music with funk. Groovy!

Enjoy!
