  1. I've never been a fan of Sammy Davis Jr. but with your recommendation I'm all in. Thanks, Aaron.
Carmen McRae is another story. I've always loved her.

    1. I've never been a big fan of him either, but there are som groovy moments with him I think. Is it true that he had a glass eye?

    2. True about that glass eye. He lost his left eye in a car accident in 1954, according to Wiki. Then he converted to Judaism. His religion, his eye, and his ethnicity all contributed to the myth of uniqueness. As a member of the Rat Pack he was a constant butt of jokes but he took it all in good humor on the outside. Inside was a different matter, although he was a fervent patriot.

    3. Oh, didn't knew this. Seems not like a groovy guy after all then. His version of Mr. Bojangles is still a gem.

    1. SKA'67 is on it's way:-) Eisenberg, wasn't that the older meth-cooking dude in Breaking Bad?

  3. No relation! Not a long lost cousin. I think that character had an "H" to start his name, anyway. Great show though. (Thanks for the ska!)
