Arthur Alexander "Same" 1972

A wonderful muscle shoals production country groove from 1972 with singer Arthur Alexander (who may be most famous for his early 60s work You'd Better Move On and Anna). This album is a great example of where country meets soul. Almost half of the songs on this LP where written by the legendary Alabama son Donnie Fritts.

  1. Thank You, Groover's Choice, for this Arthur Alexander. He's a favorite of mine and I'm surprised that I haven't come across this before.

  2. Thank you! Very excited to listed to this. I see that it is produced by Tommy Cogbill, super bass man of the Muscle Shoals rhythm section!
