B.O.X. ‎"Beyond Ordinary X-Istence" 1991

This self titled debut album by rapper B.O.X from Los Angeles 1991 is some kind of a hidden treasure, a true gem for friends of thug rap and roots hip hop, the joyful sampling, the funk, and uptempo groove reminds me a lot of the early recordings of De La Soul. I don't know what this dude are doing today, but I think it's kinda sad he didn't release any more records at the time (1999-2001 he was part of the group 3re Da Hardaway) But hey, he's on the "book" here. Groovy!
