Bobby Hatfield "Messin' in Muscle Shoals" 1971

This LP is a true ace, if you love blue eyed country soul, country funk and the groovier side of country from the early seventies. Bobby Hatfield was one of the guys in the duo Righteous Brothers, they made some really great recordings in the mid sixties. Most famous for their work with Phil Spector and the smash hit "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'". Hatfield recorded this solo LP (sadly his only) 1971 in the highly rated Muscle Shoals studio, the sound on this album is really the essence of that typical sound. Some of the songwriters on the album are Dan Penn, George Jackson and Mickey Buckins - I think you got it. Please give this a try, it's so groovy!

Enjoy!
