Byard Lancaster "Funny Funky Rib Crib" 1974

The saxophonist and fluetist Byard Lancaster released his first LP in 1968 on the Vortex label called "It's Not Up To Us". He played a mix of a soul tinged kind of jazz and experimented with free jazz and avant garde along with a more funky electric kind of jazz, wich is very well represented on this masterpiece from 1974 "Funny Funky Rib Crib".
