Lasse Fernlöf And His Orchestra "The Chameleon" 1969

This is probably the grooviest and most funky soundtrack ever made in Sweden. The film itself is a kind of crime b-movie played in Stockholm 1969. The music is some sort of soul jazz, sometimes with a groovy sitar, sometimes with a pop-oriented library beat. This is really a true classic made by the legendary Lasse Fernlöf.

  1. This record is really nice, Aaron. I am a minor fan of Swedish crime novels, in particular those by Jens Lapidus, and this seems like a pretty good soundtrack to them as well. Thanks.

  2. Man, this is gooood stuff. Any chance you might have the Svit Cachasa LP. Thanks for the post.
